New Metallurgist Strengthens Duraloy Technologies Engineering Team

Duraloy Technologies is excited to announce the addition of Supattra (Suki) Altman to its engineering team as a Metallurgist. Suki brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in materials and metallurgical engineering to Duraloy.
Suki holds a Master of Science degree in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering and boasts eight years of experience in Research and Development with a major hot rolled steel producer. Highly skilled in various analytical techniques, including electron probe microanalysis, scanning electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction, Suki's expertise will be instrumental in advancing Duraloy's research and development efforts for cutting-edge alloy solutions.

About Supattra (Suki) Altman
Suki holds both a BSc and an MSc in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. Over the past decade, she has honed her expertise in materials characterization, root cause analysis, and project management through various roles. Most recently, she worked at MSA The Safety Company, where she was responsible for the assembly, testing, and inspection of critical safety equipment.

Prior to this role, Suki served as a Senior Supervisor Engineer in R&D at Sahaviriya Steel Industries in Thailand. There, she led the development of high-strength low-alloy steels and successfully reduced manufacturing defects, achieving significant cost savings. Her collaborative projects with the Synchrotron Light Research Institute underscore her commitment to advancing materials science.
