Duraloy Technologies Turns 100

100th Anniversary

What do Wonder Bread, Chanel No. 5 and Duraloy Technologies have in common? You may have guessed it from the title, but all three turn 100 years old in 2021.

Duraloy was founded in 1921 by Thomas Rhett Heyward Jr. (1881-1954) with the original facility located in New Cumberland, West Virginia. At that time, Duraloy’s current facility (Scottdale, PA) was the home of the U.S. Cast and Iron Pipe Foundry. Duraloy moved to this location in 1937.

Over the last century Duraloy has overcome many challenges from The Great Depression to the COVID-19 Pandemic currently plaguing our country and today is proud to remain a world leader in the production of specialty castings and assemblies.

A lot can change in 100 years, but one thing is certain - Duraloy’s commitment to quality and dedication to reliability are here to stay. Thank you to our customers, vendors and our dedicated workforce for making the past century of operation possible.

Here’s to the next 100 years. We’re here for you - why not Embrace The Future With People You Trust?
