Duraloy and USW Agree to Five Year Contract

Duraloy Technologies and the USW are pleased to announce that they have come to an agreement on a new contract that will be in effect until August, 2025.

On Friday, August 28th, Union members voted in favor of the terms of the agreement, allowing Duraloy to continue with uninterrupted production. Duraloy and the USW have had a history of positive relationships that help secure the success of Duraloy and its employees.

Duraloy President Vince Schiavoni wishes to express his thanks to the Union Negotiating Committee for their leadership during negotiations and their support of this agreement and to Union members for supporting these negotiating efforts with a positive vote. This will help to ensure Duraloy’s ability to provide a high quality, on-time product to our valuable customers for years to come.

Union Local President Randy Eicher said of the new contract: “Our Union is not a narrow, self serving group. Duraloy and the USW have raised wages and benefits through collective bargaining and together we have laid a foundation for the next generation”.

The USW represents 850,000 workers in North America employed in many industries that include metals, rubber, chemicals, paper, oil refining and the service and public sectors.
