Fiona Carter, Brock Grabiak, and Sara Norton have started their summer internships at Duraloy. Internships bring a new perspective to our company, expand students knowledge beyond the classroom, and assist them financially through college.
Fiona will be a junior at University of Pittsburgh - Greensburg. At Pitt- Greensburg, Fiona is a member of the Christian Fellowship Club and Phi Eta Sigma Freshmen Honor Society. She will report to Dave Hixenbaugh in Information Technology. Fiona is studying Information Technology and Mathematics.
Brock will be a senior in Mechanical Engineering at Penn State Behrend. He is the Vice-President of Tau Beta Pi - Engineering Honor Society, and an active member of the Materials & Manufacturing Group. He reports to Dale Smodic to support capital and maintenance projects, and other foundry improvements. Brock previously interned with Duraloy in the summer of 2017.
Sara has completed her third year of a 3-2 Engineering program where she will earn two degrees in five years - a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics/Engineering from Saint Vincent College and a Bachelor of Science in the engineering from University of Pittsburgh. At St. Vincent, she received the honor of being on the Alpha Lambda Delta - National Honor Society, Co-Captain of the Women's Golf Team, and PAC Athletics Honor Society. Sara will report to Lacy Dunmyre in manufacturing design engineering.
